I thought I'd give you an update on how our new windows are performing.

My thermometer says its 29C outside. Indoors it's 25 and feels cool. As you know the house faces south and at this time of the year I could expect to have the AC on when it is like this. I am writing from the office which normally would be hot even with the blinds closed. We have not received our new window coverings yet, though I have not been uncomfortable at all working at the desk today.

We receive nothing but compliments on the change we made, and I can't wait to see how the windows affect heating in the winter. If it's anything like today, it will lead to some good savings.
