The most critical factor to consider is the installation. The world’s most efficient window system is only as good as the installation so it’s critical to get this right. Cedarport only utilizes licensed carpenters with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, who have gone through rigorous training to ensure proper installation techniques are used. Often, many projects require extra care and attention to rotting sills, walls and floors where significant expertise is required. Our principal install leaders (2) have more than 60 years combined experience.

Thought I’d take a minute to pass on some feedback on Cedarport’s service. In a word, it’s excellent.
I called a while ago to ask for help with 2 casement window cranks for our chalet (now about 10 yrs old) and was told a service tech would call me back. Kyle Fluney actually did. We arranged a mutually convenient time to check them out and he showed up on time. The cranks needed to be replaced, were covered by warranty, but had to be ordered. Kyle called when they arrived, again set up a mutually convenient time, and again he and his partner arrived right on time. They made the work look easy and in no time we were back in business. The windows look great and function beautifully.

Here’s the best part - I have always dreaded having new windows installed because of the mess created when removing the old. Well, with Cedarport's installer it was a breeze. Dave and his helper Terry were a delight to have working in my home. They showed up when they said they would, were respectful of my property, used drop sheets everywhere, vacuumed up all debris, took all waste material away and when all the work was finished my home was spotless.

I thought I'd give you an update on how our new windows are performing.
My thermometer says its 29C outside. Indoors it's 25 and feels cool. As you know the house faces south and at this time of the year I could expect to have the AC on when it is like this. I am writing from the office which normally would be hot even with the blinds closed. We have not received our new window coverings yet, though I have not been uncomfortable at all working at the desk today.
We receive nothing but compliments on the change we made, and I can't wait to see how the windows affect heating in the winter. If it's anything like today, it will lead to some good savings.
